The River Valley’s Rock Christmas Extravaganza benefitting Arkansas Center for Music Education

The River Valley’s rock Christmas Extravaganza is back for the seventh year! Winter’s Night: Tales of Christmas Wonder will be presented Friday, November 14th at 7 PM. It will be held at the Center for the Arts, 2209 South Knoxville Avenue in Russellville AR. This event is the yearly fundraiser for Arkansas Center for Music Education (ACME), a local 501c3 non-profit that offers music performance opportunites for the community, including opportunities for the special needs community. Members of several of ACME’s performance groups, Russellville Community Band, the Community Festival Chorale and Heartstrings (special needs choir) will participate in this event.

The first portion of the show will be the original Tales of Christmas Wonder, written by Winter’s Night. The second portion will feature Christmas music by several different artists including Trans Siberian Orchestra as well as some reimagined arrangements of songs you’ve seen in Christmas shows. As always, there will be video wall, beautiful lighting (no strobes), and we’ve heard it could snow again . . .

This event is proudly sponsored by Blackstone honoring the legacy of James Primm, and Sue Barton. Arkansas Center for Music Education serves Pope, Johnson, Yell, Logan, and Conway counties.
