Poetry Night with Amy Turn Sharp at Maudine’s at Maudine’s – Columbus, OH

Join us Thursday, November 20 for a new workshop series with Amy Turn Sharp at Maudine’s!

We’ll begin with a writing workshop for the first half, followed by an open mic where you can share your own work or read what we create together. Simple and fun creative prompts will bring out the poet in everyone. Bring a notebook and pen.

Amy Turn Sharp is a mom of three boys, an avid reader, traveler, and Creative Director. She owns Secret Studio, a recording studio and art gallery in Franklinton, where she hosts creativity coaching sessions and poetry and songwriting workshops. These workshops are available both in person and virtually for people around the world. Her writing speaks to the brokenhearted, the joyful, and the weirdos of the future. Amy believes we all need reminders of life’s little truths—the words that connect us, turn us on, and tune us in. She invites you to raise your hand if you want a poem.

Parking available in valet, on the surrounding streets, or in the nearby garages. Workshop will start at 6pm.
