French Impressions at First Church and Parish In Dedham – Dedham, MA

French Impressions is our 2025 Fall concert primarily featuring pieces by French composers. The concert also includes an original composition by our cellist, Judith Glixon. Many of the pieces are in the shimmering French Impressionist style of Debussy, Ravel and Faure. We have included two audience favorites from the period – an arrangement of Debussy’s Clair de Lune for viola and piano, and of Faure’s Pavane for piano trio. Also on the program are an early French trio sonata by Boismortier and a contrasting string trio by Russian composer Sergey Taneyev. Suggested donation is $20. This website will provide just one “ticket” per donation. You may make separate donations to get individual tickets.
