Things Swap @ Give Miami Festival at Maurice A. Ferré Park – Miami, FL

The Things Lab is participating and representing ENVIRONMENT at the Issue Area Discovery Zone with our friends at Debris Free Oceans at the first-ever Give Miami Festival on November 16, 8am – 1pm!

If you want to run or walk the Give Miami 5K BEFORE the Festival, you can support The Things Lab by selecting “The Things Lab, Inc.” when you register. Your entire registration fee will be donated to us! To join the 5K, please register HERE.

Meet the nonprofits making a difference across our city, learn about their impact, and show your support for the causes that matter most to you. Enjoy live music, performances, games, and surprises; explore nonprofit discovery zones; taste bites from local food vendors; and don’t miss the 305-meter Kids’ Dash!

It’s a one-of-a-kind opportunity to celebrate generosity, community, and joy, Miami style.

Visit us at the ENVIRONMENT tent and swap a few things! Bring no more than 10 gently used items (no clothes) – things that are clean, functional, and ready for a new home! Discover treasures for your own use and keep them out of a landfill. You can also come without things to swap and make a Pay-What-You-Value tax deductible donation to The Things Lab. DONATIONS of $25 or more will be MATCHED with $25 by The Miami Foundation!

Any leftover items will be donated to a local thrift store. You are also welcome to take your unclaimed donations home with you. That way, nothing goes to waste!
