Compassionate Behavioral Health Care for Teens & Adolescents
What Makes New Beginnings Behavioral Health & Wellness Different?
At New Beginnings Behavioral Health, we believe every young person deserves care that is personal, compassionate, and built around their unique needs. Our experienced, multidisciplinary team works alongside adolescents and their families to create individualized treatment plans that support meaningful progress, stronger relationships, and lasting well-being.
We offer a continuum of behavioral health services designed to meet each individual where they are, including:
- Residential Treatment (RTC) — Structured, supportive care for adolescents who need a higher level of treatment and stability.
- Partial Hospitalization Programs (PHP) — Intensive daytime treatment that provides clinical support while allowing participants to return home or to a supportive living environment.
- Intensive Outpatient Programs (IOP) — Flexible, structured care that helps adolescents continue their progress while maintaining their daily routines.
Our approach is family-centered, evidence-informed, and focused on the whole person. From assessment through treatment and transition, we partner with families to help adolescents develop the skills, confidence, and support they need to move forward.

Common Treatment Questions
Teen treatment is very effective for helping teens uncover to the root cause of their mental health issues and gain the tools they need to manage symptoms and thrive in life again.
Teen therapy typically takes place on a weekly basis. For residential treatment, teens live on site and take part in a structured schedule that includes clinical and experiential therapies as well as an educational component. Outpatient treatment offers flexible daily schedule that allows patients to return home in the evening.
At New Beginnings, our gender-responsive teen mental health centers treat teens according to their gender identity, recognizing them as their authentic selves.
Seeking treatment can help your child process unresolved trauma and develop the tools they need to learn emotion regulation, build healthy relationships, set boundaries, and improve self-worth.
You can expect a supportive and confidential environment where a mental health professional will provide a combination of interviews, questionnaires, and potentially behavioral observations to gather information about your teen’s mental health, symptoms, and overall functioning. The evaluation helps determine a diagnosis and informs their treatment plan.
Newport works with several major insurance providers to optimize care, including Optum, Blue Cross Blue Shield, Kaiser Permanente, TRICARE, and more.
