La Linea festival presents Sílvia Pérez Cruz, one of the most captivating voices in contemporary music.
Described by Jorge Drexler as “a voice that marks a generation,” her sound blends Iberian, Latin American, jazz, and flamenco influences with an artistry that is unmistakably her own. Known for her powerful live performances, Sílvia’s concerts are immersive, emotional journeys that leave audiences captivated.
She received the prestigious Spain’s National Prize for Contemporary Music in 2022 and a Latin Grammy nomination for her collaboration with Residente on the song ‘313’ this year.
In April 2023, she released Toda la vida, un día, featuring collaborations with Natalia Lafourcade and Salvador Sobral among others. Sílvia has performed this recording in more than 80 concerts throughout 2023 and 2024, touring numerous countries in Europe, South America, Asia and the United States.
With a career encompassing critically acclaimed works like 11 de Noviembre and Farsa (género imposible), as well as award-winning compositions for the animated film Josep, Sílvia Pérez Cruz has consistently pushed artistic boundaries, solidifying her place as one of the most innovative voices of her generation.
