Join inPrint for a session of mindful art-making. Perfect for creatives of any experience level, the focus of this workshop will be to create an image using pre-made stencils and pastels, otherwise known as pochoir. Classically used to fill in colour for etchings and relief prints, we will use this method on it’s own to develop our art.
Students will be invited to create in a relaxed enviroment, with a focus on mindful image creation, and less on rigid technique – this means no drawing (or printmaking) experience needed! We will discuss two methods of composition-building, be invited to play with colour in imaginative ways, and build up our images in fantasical ways.
All materials included in the class fee. Suitable for older teens and adults.
inPrint is located at 58 Wade Ave, Unit 8a. The closest subway station is Lansdowne Station, with available paid parking on the east side of the station. At this time, inPrint’s studio is not mobility-friendly.
REFUND POLICY: Refunds available up to 48 hours prior to class start. We will also refund day of ONLY in the case of illness (honour system, thanks!), but you must tell us same day with an email prior to the start of class. We will also refund in the case of our own cancelations. No refunds or credits if you no-show without notice indicated here. Missed classes in multi-day courses do not qualify for discounts/refunds.
