Accessible tickets for wheelchair users and ambulant persons can be purchased through Ticketmaster. Simply click on “Buy General Admission Accessible Tickets” and select the tickets needed. On the night of the show, accessible ticket holders should not join the General Admission queue for entry. Instead, they should proceed directly to the front door and present their tickets to any steward on duty. Ambulant persons may use the main stairway if desired, but there is also an alternative doorway designated for wheelchair users. Venue stewards are more than happy to assist with any special requirements. Currently, the Barrowland does not have an accessible lift. However, the venue utilises a mechanical “Stairclimber” (distinct from a conventional chairlift) that they have used safely for nearly ten years. Trained stewards operate the Stairclimber to transport wheelchair users to upper floors. Please note that the venue cannot accommodate power wheelchairs due to weight restrictions, but they can provide temporary wheelchairs for use within the venue.
