Unleash your creativity and curiosity in our Introductory Taxidermy Class! Designed for beginners, this hands-on course offers a fascinating glimpse into the art and science of taxidermy. Class begins promptly at 10am and ends at 4pm. We provide each student with either a skinned, cleaned, and tanned racoon, opossum, or rat hide depending on the workshop you are taking. The first half of class is focused on preparing your form, setting the eyes, test fitting and mounting the hide, as well as grooming. After our first 30-minute break class shifts towards plaque preparation and mounting your project. The class runs for approximately 6 hours with two 30-minute breaks throughout the day. Accessible seating is located on both the Lower Bowl and Upper Bowl. The arena has elevators and/or escalators to reach all levels. Assistive Listening Devices are available at the Guest Services area on the South side of the Arena Main Concourse. Customer must leave a driver s license or credit card that will be held until device is returned. 1 Accessible/1 Companion allowed at this venue.

Bag Policy: Bags permitted into CHI Health Center Omaha must be clear plastic, vinyl or PVC totes measuring 12x12x6 or a one gallon clear freezer bag. Small, opaque clutch-sized bags measuring 4.5×6.5 will also be allowed inside the arena after a proper security inspection. Oversized bags or purses are not permitted. Exceptions will be made for bags with medical necessity.
