A music theatre work exploring the lives of three heroic indigenous women
Join us on Sunday, November 9 at 2:00 p.m. for “We Continue,” a music theatre work exploring the lives of three heroic indigenous women:
- Sacagawea, Shoshone guide and interpreter for the Lewis and Clark expedition,
- Zitkala-Sa, Yankton Dakota writer, musician, educator and voting rights activist, and
- Wilma Mankiller, the first female chief of the Cherokee nation.
Starring Core Ensemble actor Francisca Munoz, with an ensemble of cello, piano and percussion.
