Tuesday, NOVEMBER 11th, LA’s favorite art salon and creative mixer returns.

This month we’re focusing on all you film folk. Actors, Directors, Producers, Scenic and Wardrobe, 3d animators, cinema and film festers, Crew, and all those with a dream of the silver screen!

We will be having an awesome group of speakers covering a wide range of film related topics. We will have a breakaway discussion about financing and crowdfunding. AND….we will be screening 3 awesome shorts or reels from YOU!!! For our own mini Collab Film Fest we will pick three selected winners to screen, dissect, cheer, give a bunch of promotion to… and we’re giving out 3 awesome prizes.

What is Collab? Started in 2005, it’s a monthly art salon, creative mixer, network/collaboration event and a place to help figure out what you want to get up to next. Anyone is welcome, it’s super easy to meet people, share ideas, get inspired, find collaborators, or get help on your project! It is a creative retreat for artists, entrepreneurs, techies, makers, mad scientists, film folk, performers, investors, inventors and all around awesome creatives.Our guest speakers are structured around an ask and give format. They share their projects, their experiences, and their amazing talents. In return, they make an ask of the community to help make their creative dreams reality.
