In August of 2023, Max Meisel started BackDoor Comedy- an event that combined comedy, live entertainment, and a social element all into one show.

Over the span of two years, his LA-based show grew to New York- his old stomping grounds- and was featured in E! News and LA write-ups. With a DJ, food pop-up, dancing, a social mixer, and great comedy, Max’s comedy party breaks all the rules of a traditional comedy show, encouraging people to meet someone new, eat some food, dance a little, and laugh a whole lot.
