SUMMARY

Join us in support of seniors and vulnerable communities in an effort to provide legal representation through our Legal Services Programs at the FundaveNYC Cocktail Fundraiser (FCF) 2025 titled: Building The Right Bridges For Our Community! Enjoy an evening of celebration, camaraderie, and surprises while making a lasting impact on one of the greatest challenges our city faces today.

Our goal is for 100% of our guests, allies, partners, and volunteers to make a financial contribution. There will be plenty of ways to do so. Your contributions allow us to continue providing critical support and legal services.

Fifty percent of the funds raised will go towards our Legal Services Programs, focusing on legal representation at court serving seniors and single mothers facing imminent risk of deportation. If you cannot attend, you can also make a tax-deductible donation.

For a sneak peek, check out our inaugural cocktail fundraiser in 2023, where we received special recognition from the City of New York.

We will have a fascinating night in the great salon Green Fig located on the 4th Floor, where our 3rd Cocktail at Green Fig will collaborate in hosting a full evening of artists, singers, and plenty of entertainment for the entire family and friends. You have to be there to witness how a team of Fundavenyc’s volunteers and talents come together to create an unforgettable experience.

Fundavenyc is deeply honored to receive recognition from Representative Catalina Cruz, who serves the New York State Assembly District 39—one of the most diverse districts in the nation—encompassing the vibrant neighborhoods of Corona, Elmhurst, and Jackson Heights, along with portions of Middle Village and Rego Park.

Experience an electrifying international night, where surprises await at every turn! Leading the festivities are our dynamic Masters of Ceremonies, Daniela Kosan and Ramon Castro, each bringing their own world-class flair and energy to the stage. Daniela—renowned for her charisma, elegance, and decades of experience as an international beauty queen and TV host—enchanted Latin America as the face of E! Entertainment Television for ten memorable years.

Joining her is Ramón Castro, an innovator who gave brands an unforgettable personality and spent nine years as Telefónica Movistar’s iconic ambassador. Ramón is also the brain behind the acclaimed “Let’s Connect Show,” a fresh blend of networking and entertainment that’s captivated audiences year after year in Houston, Miami, Orlando, and beyond.

We have the pleasure to introduce Mafer Bandola, a founding member of the Latin alternative band LADAMA. Mafer has released two acclaimed albums and co-produces Latínica, a digital conference exploring Latinx identity in the music industry. She also played a lead role in Papá Cuatro, a musical chronicling Venezuelan migration, which received a Carbonell Award in 2023.

Let’s welcome Majo Negrete, a talented singer based in New York, with Ecuadorian roots and a versatile voice that covers genres from romantic ballads to cumbia, pasillos, and popular Latin music

Ricardo Stevan is an actor, writer, graphic designer, director, and producer from Colombia who has been based in New York since 2014. He is the founder and director of Fábrica de Estrellas in Colombia and The Star Factory Inc. in the United States

Daniel Marchan Jr. is a Venezuelan saxophonist and producer who began playing in his early teenage years, raised in a musically driven family that shaped his ear and artistic identity.

Fundavenyc, a non-profit organization dedicated to supporting diverse international communities in New York City, proudly presents Co-Founder Daniel Chacon and his inspiring initiative, the “55,000 Steps of Hope” challenge. This year, Daniel will take on the incredible journey of running the full NYC Marathon distance—with only one leg—matching every step of the official race and proving that no obstacle is insurmountable when hope leads the way.

Daniel’s mission is more than a test of endurance—it’s a rallying call to empower and uplift. His run aims to raise critical donations for Fundavenyc’s legal services programs, which provide essential legal representation and assistance for urgent immigration and community legal needs. Every contribution helps open doors for individuals and families seeking safety, justice, and new beginnings in New York City.

Join the “55,000 Steps of Hope” movement, a symbol of solidarity and opportunity alongside Daniel. Be part of a powerful story—and make a difference with every step. Donate today to support this extraordinary journey and help transform lives through the gift of legal empowerment.
