In 2018, a new weekly BIPOC LGBTQ+ event launched at a venue named Wicked Bloom featuring DC’s own DJ MIM accompanied by reknown drummer Asha Santee. After a Covid Pandemic closure of WB in 2020, this event transformed into a monthly pop-up series and is a cultural phenomenon in the DMV area for the BIPOC LGBTQ+ community and their allies.
