Long Live Evan Foundation 1st Annual Fish Fry at Uptown Cafe – Philadelphia, PA

On June 19. 2021, our lives were shattered when our son, brother, grandson, nephew, uncle, cousin and friend, Evan Baylor was the victim of gun violence. In an effort to turn our incredulous pain into a divine purpose, we are officially launching the Long Live Evan Foundation, an organization specifically designed to support the needs of siblings who have been directly impacted by the devastating effects of gun violence through resources and trauma-informed therapy while connecting this unique cohort of individuals who have a common thread. This underserved group needs our support and we plan on serving and uplifting them as they navigate life without their sister and/or brother.

Thanksgiving was Evan’s favorite holiday and as a chef, he loved cooking for others. What better way to honor his legacy other than to rescue you from another turkey meal and have something different by eating some of his favorite foods – fried fish and fried chicken! we won’t get to eat his alfredo fries at this event, but we can certainly enjoy some great food, fond memories and fun! Come join us as we remember his vibrant personality and positive outlook on life. Even though he’s no longer with us physically, his legacy will live on to help others.
