Fanny’s (the restaurant at the Academy Museum), and The Next Fun Thing are teaming up to present Reel Connections: Speed Networking for Filmmakers, a professional twist on speed dating geared toward supporting filmmakers. More than a simple mixer, the event will require a pre-survey and feature a moderator that pairs attendees with a curated selection of peers in order to foster meaningful connections.
Tickets include a complementary drink.
HOW IT WORKS
- Buy your ticket, create your account on our app, and fill out your profile. A link to the app will be sent to you after your purchase your ticket (this will help us match you with other filmmakers)
- 6:45 PM – check in with your hosts
- 7:20 PM – 8:30 PM – speed networking will occur
- 8:30 PM – 9:00 PM – networking mixer! Continue conversations with those you met, and mingle with others in the space.
