It’s time to dress to the nines, pour the good sake, and swing into the holiday season with Sake Noire at Porter. Join us for an elegant two-night affair featuring acclaimed trumpet player Jun Iida, returning after his secret October set for what’s sure to be the party of the year.

We’re transforming Porter into a Tokyo-style jazz club for this special celebration. Mixologists Marie Yoshimizu and Niah Byström will be behind the bar, crafting riffs on Japanese classic cocktails, while Chef Jeff presents a menu of Japanese-inspired party bites to keep your spirits high. While Quan of Sake Noire will have a list of celebratory sake pours to choose from.

Tickets include:
• Two sessions of live jazz sets by Jun Iida & Band
• One welcome glass of sake or non-alcoholic cocktail
• Access to our Japanese-inspired food and drink menu

Seating is limited and based on area — whether you prefer a communal table, a cozy corner, or the lively bar, grab your spot early.

Dress to impress — this is your chance to finally wear that stunning dress or sharp suit you’ve been saving. Let’s make it a night of class, sound, and celebration.

Event Agenda:

6-730pm | Arrive at the venue at 6pm to enjoy welcome sake, grab extra drinks, place food orders, and enjoy the wonderful space at The Shop by Porter.

730-8pm | First set of the show will start. Guests are asked to be in their seats.

8-8:15pm | Second round of drinks or orders to be made. This is rapid fire ordering and drinks will come as they are prepared.

815-9pm | Second set of the show will start.

9pm-10pm | Mingle & enjoy the rest of the evening in the venue. Meet and greet the band. Take your holiday photos!
