Daniel Lucko Fundraiser at Lakewood Lodge #1350 – Westlake, OH

On Tuesday March 18th,2025 during an emergency room visit, Dan was diagnosed with testicular cancer. That Friday, he underwent emergency surgery at the Cleveland Clinic. The cancer is currently spreading to the retroperitoneal lymph nodes and the lymphatic swelling is impacting his left kidney as well. The surgeon removed the left testicle and placed a stent in the left kidney ureter to ease the pain he has been in. His first appointment with his oncologist was March 31st, 2025. He began chemotherapy immediately after. He will need surgery to remove several lymph nodes that are still swollen. It will be a very long and dangerous operation. It will take four to five hours to complete with two top surgeons working. The surgery will be scheduled for mid October with a minimum of six weeks for recovery.

The Lucko and Vasey families along with others are hosting a fundraiser dinner at Lakewood Elks #1350 in Westlake on November, 15th 2025. Our goal is to raise funds that will help Daniel Lucko and immediate family with the everyday cost of living, as well as larger bills such as their mortgage and utilities
