Spir Foundation Launch Fundraiser: Walk in Their Shoes! at Cathedral – Seattle, WA

About the Event
We have exciting news! We are launching a nonprofit called Spir Foundation!

For over seven years, we’ve had the privilege of working with—and learning from—the incredible young men we employ. Together, we’ve logged more than 12,500 hours of employment with 63 young men, been featured in multiple news outlets, and witnessed lives and futures reshaped.

SO MUCH GOOD STUFF.

But along the way we’ve realized something: a job alone isn’t enough. Our guys need—and deserve—support that goes deeper. Transportation, housing stability, mentorship, financial literacy, and mental health resources are critical to successful reentry.

That’s why we’re launching the Spir Foundation, a nonprofit created to expand the support we can offer beyond employment.

What to Expect
This evening will be more than a fundraiser—it will be an celebration and a unique experience. Guests will take part in a reentry simulation, a powerful, hands-on exercise that reveals the barriers young men face when returning to their communities after incarceration.

Following the simulation, we’ll share stories, updates, and the vision for what’s next for Spir Foundation. The night will include drinks, lite bites, and meaningful conversation in a community committed to hope and opportunity.
