Now, a critically acclaimed North American tour brings the cherished musical to stages across the country to teach a new generation to sing. Directed by three-time Tony Award® winner Jack O’Brien, this vibrant and romantic tale of Maria and the von Trapp family will captivate audiences with its universal themes of love, resilience and the power of music. Featuring beloved songs like “Do-Re-Mi,” “Sixteen Going on Seventeen” and “Edelweiss,” THE SOUND OF MUSIC is the iconic tale of a spirited nun who chooses not to live behind closed doors – and, by following her heart, learns to climb every mountain.

Accessible, Wheelchair & Companion seating available in Orchestra, Dress Circle & Mezzanine levels. Swing-out arm aisle Transfer seats available in Orchestra level for mobility impaired patrons. Assisted Listening Devices available in Lobby for each performance on first-come, first-serve basis. Select performances may offer ASL or Audio-described services.

All Balcony seats require stairs. All tickets will be delivered via mobile, and will be made available approximately 2 weeks after the public on sale. Any orders above the ticket limit will be canceled. The Civic Theatre is a cashless venue. This applies to all ticket sales, food & beverage purchases, and binocular rentals. No Cameras or Recording allowed. Any re-prints/ re-issued barcodes for tickets not downloaded prior to arriving at the venue will incur a $5 Green Fee. Please arrive at least 45 minutes prior to event time. Please only bring essential items with you. Only bags that are 12″x12″ or smaller are permitted.
