Bing in the New Year is a free, outdoor, family-friendly New Year’s Eve event in downtown Milwaukie that culminates with a 9 p.m. (East Coast midnight) “cherry drop” lowering, by crane, of a 7-foot, lighted Bing cherry. We will have live music from The Radio Shack, Chinese cultural performances and lion dancers, food and marketplace vendors and a beer garden. More at binginthenewyear.com.
