Remix OUTings: January 2026 Edition

Looking to expand your sapphic circle in the new year? Remix OUTings is a curated social series for queer women and sapphics 35+ who want real connection—good food, shared stories, and a little intentional magic.

This round is for individuals—partnered or single—who want new friendships and a wider community.

How It Works

When you sign up, you’ll complete a short survey—created by a sapphic, for sapphics—to help us match you with a small group of likeminded folks (6–10 total).

Your group will meet once a week for three weeks—January 15, 22, and 29—on Thursday evenings, all within DC proper.

Based on your group’s interests, outings may include:

• dinners
• arts/crafts experiences
• escape rooms
• or even a free meet-up like a museum visit

Each group will receive at least one perk across the three outings—this could be a complimentary drink, shared appetizer, or a group discount.

To wrap it up, all groups will come together for a final mixer on February 5.

What You Cover

The cost of your food, drink, or activity each week
Expect to spend ~$25–45 per outing, depending on what you order and what the plan is

Your Remix fee covers the matching, the planning, the venue coordination, group management, and the tools that make your experience seamless.

✨ Show up for yourself and your group. The best outcomes come when participants commit to all three sessions, engage in the WhatsApp chat, and approach new people with openness.

✨ Matching is intentional—not guaranteed. We match you thoughtfully based on the participants we have. Most people form meaningful friendships, but we can’t guarantee a perfect fit.

✨ Refunds: Refunds are available through January 6. After that, no refunds and no transfers.

By attending a Mixtape Sapphics event, you consent to being photographed and/or recorded by our team, volunteers, and fellow participants for promotional use. Photos and videos may be submitted to us by attendees and may be used for social media, event recaps, and other marketing materials now or in the future.

Your presence at the event implies agreement to the use of your image, voice, and likeness—without compensation—in any media created by or for Mixtape Sapphics. You release Mixtape Sapphics and its partners from any liability related to such usage.
