Chacchoben Mayan Ruins is the most popular and visited attraction for a day in Costa Maya. It is approximately 55 minutes drive from Costa Maya Port. This site is just a few kilometers from the village of Chacchoben from which it’s name derive. The translation of the Mayan word “Chacchoben” refers to “The Place Of The Red Corn”.
