We will begin the tour in the heart of the city. Once our small group (3-6 people) is assembled, we will visit two of Yucatan’s most iconic markets, where we will sample multiple dishes of Yucatecan cuisine at the best market stalls. Along with breakfast, we will also enjoy a refreshing fruit drink and finish off with traditional sweets from my beautiful Yucatan. During the tour, I will tell you about the ingredients and preparation of the various dishes we will try, as well as the influence of Mayan culture on Yucatecan cuisine and how its heritage lives on every day in our palates.
