The temazcal is based on the use of natural agents such as air, water, light, heat and massage to help the body heal itself. It also uses herbal products and aromatherapy.

I am a doctor specialized in ethno-medicine. I have been studying the history of indigenous people in Mexico for 15 years. I propose you a unique experience of mind and body purification and regeneration based on ancestral Aztec practices. I will be your temazcalera in this ceremonial temazcal.
After an energetic cleansing (limpia), you will enter the dome-shaped “house of steam” where the Nahuas (Aztecs) were performing their ancestral hygienic, therapeutic and sacred rituals. Inside, red-hot volcanic stones are sprinkled with infusions of aromatic and medicinal plants to produce steam that helps you sweat and detoxify. It boosts circulation by open up your capillaries, eases muscle pain, relieves stress, aches and injuries, helps to flush out skin impurities, makes the skin look smoother with a lifting effect leaving the skin moisturized and radiant. It promotes relaxation in a soothing environment by lowering blood pressure and increasing pulmonary oxygenation.
This 3-hour long ancestral sauna offers a cleansing of the mind. Infusions with magical plants provide a multi-sensory experience full of magic in keeping with Aztec customs. The dome symbolizes the belly of the earth from which you will be reborn full of a luminous spirit.
You will sit inside this sweat lodge, lulled by the voice of the temazcalera, the drum of the fire master, in an environment of steam suitable for meditation. Living this experience is diving into the pre-Hispanic cosmovision by going deep inside yourself.
