Step away from the Las Vegas Strip and into a peaceful desert oasis on this unforgettable Emerald Cave Kayaking Tour. Perfect for beginners and seasoned paddlers alike, this small-group experience combines wildlife, natural beauty, and stargazing for a one-of-a-kind river adventure.

Your journey begins at Willow Beach, where you’ll meet your guide and gear up with a kayak, paddle, and life vest. After a short instructional session, launch into the sparkling turquoise waters of the Colorado River and begin paddling through steep, breathtaking canyon walls that rise up to 940 feet high.

As you explore, keep an eye out for incredible desert wildlife—bald eagles, bighorn sheep, falcons, and even wild donkeys often make an appearance. Your guide will share fascinating river history as you pass sites like the Gauger’s Shack and paddle into two emerald caves, where the light reflects off the water in surreal, glowing shades of green.

You’ll stop for a short hike to the stone foundation of a 1920s river gauger’s home, offering a glimpse into the past and stunning panoramic views. Along the way, you’ll also glide past the Willow Beach National Fish Hatchery, where trout are stocked weekly—look down and you may see them swimming through the clear green water.

After a full afternoon of paddling and exploring, we’ll pull up on a remote beach for a relaxing break. As the sun sets, your guide will set up a campfire complete with chairs, s’mores, and all the cozy vibes. Then, once darkness falls, prepare to paddle back under a blanket of stars. On clear nights, the Milky Way is fully visible, turning the canyon into a jaw-dropping planetarium.
