Embark on a three-day adventure through the stunning landscapes of Banff, Yoho, and Jasper National Parks. Begin your journey at Lake Louise, where you’ll marvel at the turquoise waters surrounded by towering mountains and glaciers. Continue to Moraine Lake, renowned for its striking blue color and the breathtaking Valley of the Ten Peaks. Enjoy a lunch break in Lake Louise Village before heading to Emerald Lake in Yoho National Park, where vibrant green waters await. Conclude your day with a visit to the Natural Bridge, a fascinating rock formation over the Kicking Horse River.
On the second day, start with a hike at Johnston Canyon, exploring well-maintained trails and viewing impressive waterfalls. Spend free time in Banff Town, strolling through charming streets and enjoying a leisurely lunch. Visit Surprise Corner for a stunning view of the Fairmont Banff Springs Hotel and the Bow River. Choose between a scenic gondola ride to Sulphur Mountain or relaxation at the Upper Hot Springs (Closed from September 2 until the end of December for maintenance. The alternative will be the Cave and Basin National Historic Site.) End the day at Bow Falls, admiring the cascading waterfalls.
Your final day takes you along the Icefields Parkway, beginning with a scenic drive past Crowfoot Glacier. Stop at Bow Lake, a glacial lake with deep blue waters. Spend three hours at the Columbia Icefield, including a guided tour on the Athabasca Glacier and skywalk. Conclude your journey at Peyto Lake, famous for its turquoise color and wolf-shaped outline.
