Explore beyond Las Vegas by enjoying a true Wild West Adventure! Begin with a complimentary shuttle pickup from the Las Vegas Strip. Enjoy a photo stop at the Hoover Dam, a modern marvel of engineering. From here, your journey will bring you through Arizona’s Joshua Tree Forest and on to the historic Grand Canyon Western Ranch, first owned by a genuine cowboy outlaw in the 1880’s.

Once you arrive at the ranch you’ll partake in your chosen activity. Explore the land, see the sights and feel the old west heritage while being guided by a real cowboy. Hear stories of the land and see the herd of resident buffalo. Enjoy lunch and live cowboy entertainment. Your purchase includes your choice between a 45-minute horseback ride or a ride in a covered wagon. 

Horseback Ride: Experience a guided horseback ride where you will see the icon of the west, the buffalo, roaming in its natural environment. All the horse rides are designed for beginners; the horses are gentle and well trained and suitable for ages 9 and over. Pony rides available for ages 8 and under. Comfortably seated in your authentic western saddle, follow your guide through the Joshua Trees lining the historic Mormon Trail and up to Buffalo Point. Take photos of the wild buffalo and enjoy panoramic views of Spirit and Iron Mountain.

Covered Wagon Ride: Climb aboard a covered wagon drawn by two beautiful Belgian Draft Horses. Go back in time as you follow the old Mormon trail as the pioneers did long ago. As you climb through the Joshua tree forest your cowboy guide will provide tales of the history and wildlife of this historic ranch. On arrival at Buffalo Point, get your first views of the majestic icon of the west, the buffalo. Enjoy the opportunity to see these animals that used to roam the plains in their millions, and hear the story about their near extinction.
