Discover or rediscover one of the most prestigious castles in Europe with a fun tour that will teach you everything you need to know about the history of this unique heritage site, whether you’re 7 or 97! I will tell you the story of Francis I and his crazy project to build a castle that would become the “Jewel of the French Renaissance.”

Please note: this tour is interactive and you will be asked to participate by answering my questions or even trying to imagine yourself as a French courtier on the famous double spiral staircase.

I will meet you in front of the castle ticket office for a 1.5-hour guided tour, which will end on the terraces of the Château de Chambord.

Tips for your visit: Dress warmly as it can be draughty, and be prepared to climb stairs as there is no elevator.
