Start of Activity – Ceiba Ferry Terminal
Your journey begins at the Ceiba Ferry Terminal on the east coast of Puerto Rico. Here, you’ll board a round-trip passenger ferry to Vieques (ticket included). The scenic ride takes approximately 30–45 minutes, offering ocean breezes and glimpses of the island ahead.

Wild Horses & Scenic Lookouts
As we make our way across the island, keep an eye out for wild horses, often seen grazing freely along roads and beaches. We’ll also pause at a local nature lookout, where you can take in panoramic views of Vieques’ lush interior and rugged coastlines.

Main Experience – Barrio La Esperanza: Sea Glass & Snorkeling
Welcome to Barrio La Esperanza, a vibrant beach town brimming with character and beauty. This is one of the most interactive parts of your day!
*Historic Sugar Cane Railroad Ruins: Walk through the hauntingly beautiful remnants of Vieques’ sugar cane era. Learn how this industry once powered the island’s economy and lifestyle.
*Snorkeling at the Old Sugar Dock (Optional): Gear up and dive into the clear waters surrounding the old dock—now an underwater haven for coral and tropical fish. Snorkeling here is surreal, and equipment is available for rent on-site.
*Sea Glass Treasure Hunt: Wander the white sands of La Esperanza Beach, hunting for colorful pieces of sea glass shaped by the ocean. It’s fun, meditative, and a great souvenir to bring home.
