Downtown reflects the city’s cosmopolitan atmosphere through several sub-neighborhoods: Historic Core, Financial District, Art Performing Center, Civic Center, all of which we explore on foot. To round off this half-day tour with a French tour guide in small groups max. 10 people, we invite you to immerse yourself in Little Tokyo, the cradle of Japanese immigration – a change of scenery guaranteed!
Broadway and the early days of cinema, in the past, the famous avenue was home to the most prestigious movie premieres, with more than a dozen cinemas featuring Art Deco or Beaux Arts architecture.
Listed as a heritage site since 1917, the Grand Central Market is bustling with activity, with its many kiosks reflecting the city’s cultural diversity.
Downtown LA architecture, until the early 2000s, the historic heart of the City of Angels – and its main business district – emptied out as soon as the office hours were over. Now, for the past 15 years, the district’s architecturally striking buildings have stood side by side with world-renowned museums and sold-out shows. From the Broad Museum to Franck Gehry’s Walt Disney Concert Hall, we’ll discover these jewels of modern architecture.
A change of scene in Little Tokyo, a concentration of Japanese culture in just four blocks. Stroll through Japanese Village Plaza, where you’ll find sushi restaurants and manga stores. A change of scenery guaranteed!
