Since 1979, Kurtis Blow has been breaking new ground—he signed raps first ever record deal, first gold-certified rap single with “The Breaks”—igniting a movement that now dominates popular culture.
A living legend of 80s hip-hop, Blow has toured globally, performed with icons, and shaped the sound that would define generations.
An evening full of classic tracks, electro vibes, and undeniable nostalgia—an essential night for fans of old-school rap and anyone curious about the origins of hip-hop culture.

The venue is wheelchair accessible, unfortunately the restaurant is not. Companions/Carers will get free entrance, just purchase a General Admission ticket via www.ticketmaster.co.uk and then email the name of your carer to info@thejazzcafelondon.com they will then add them to the guest list. If you have trouble standing for long periods of time just let a manager know upon arrival and a chair will be provided by the side of the stage.
