Yellowknife: Indigenous Dog Sledding Experience – Yellowknife, Canada
Experience the thrill of dog sledding across a frozen lake. Meet the sled dogs, enjoy storytelling, our traditional bannock and hot drinks in our cozy log cabin afterward.
PRICE: $116
per person
Begin your adventure at our family’s sled dog kennel, where you’ll meet your sled dog team and take pictures with the dogs. Then, climb aboard a cushion-seated toboggan for a dog sled ride with a skilled musher.
Experience the beauty and peace of the land on a 6-kilometer run over the frozen lake. After your ride, warm up in a traditional log cabin heated by a woodstove. Enjoy storytelling, pan-fried bannock, and hot beverages, surrounded by Indigenous artifacts and furs that set the atmosphere of being out on the land.
*Please note: This tour does not include transportation. It takes 5-10 minutes to reach our camp from city center by taxi*
