In the morning, we’ll pick you up directly from your hotel and start the adventure. During the trip, we’ll make a quick stop to buy snacks and water, so you’re ready and comfortable for the day. Our first stop will be the archaeological zone of Acanceh, an ancient Mayan town, where you’ll learn about its history, traditions, and architecture while enjoying free time to explore, take photos, or have some local tacos for breakfast.
Then we’ll head to Santa Bárbara, the starting point for visiting 4 cenotes, each with different characteristics: rock formations, crystal-clear waters, caves, and natural surroundings. Here you’ll have the option to cycle between the cenotes or hop on a mule-drawn carriage, depending on your preference.
Your guide will give you information about the cenote, explaining its formation, importance, and interesting facts, but they’ll let you enjoy each place freely at your own pace, so you can explore, swim, take photos, and rest as you like.
At the end, there’ll be time for lunch at the local restaurant, with several options available, including vegetarian and vegan dishes.
To round off the experience in a fun and educational way, we’ll send you an interactive online game where you can test what you’ve learned or keep discovering more about Yucatan and its cenotes, making this day a complete, educational, and very entertaining experience.
