Come to my little store to taste 6 of the most famous gastronomic products of the Basque region: Txakoli white wine, local olive oil, Idiazabal cheese, Basque pâté and local chocolate.
During the tasting:
– We will welcome you to our store with a brief explanation of our project.
– We will make an introduction to the Basque gastronomy explaining the products offered in the tasting, revealing its history and curiosities.
– Then we will taste 2 glasses of Txakoli (Biscayan and Guipuzcoan) and we will explain the difference of its terroir so that you know what to order when you go on your own.
– We will accompany them with a pintxo of Idiazabal cheese, another of Basque pâté and then we will taste a Navarrese olive oil with rustic Basque bread.
-We will share the sensations and finish with a final sweet touch of local chocolate.
