Experience the life of a royal for a morning with exclusive early entry to the Alcazar, Seville’s grandest palace.

PRICE: $116
per person

Meet your guide and fellow travelers in Plaza del Triunfo as the city awakens. You’ll already be able to see long lines forming outside the Alcazar, but no worries—that won’t be you. With exclusive early access fit for royalty, you’ll head past the crowds and be whisked straight into the palace through doors opened just for your group.

Once inside, your guide will lead you through the empty palace and reveal the secrets behind its history, architecture, and notable figures. Explore the spaces where King Ferdinand, Queen Isabella and Christopher Columbus made plans for the latter’s journey to the New World, and learn about the influence King Peter I had on the palace as we know it today. You’ll find that it’s easy to fully appreciate the palace’s architectural and artistic treasures without the crowds.

After exploring the palace, head outside to take a peaceful stroll through the gardens. Over the centuries, each monarch who used the Alcazar expanded the gardens to their current size of seven hectares (17 acres). Today, they’re home to many exotic species of trees, flowers, and plants as well as some friendly peacocks.

Please Note: The Alcazar gardens may be closed for various reasons: rain, wind, maintenance or restoration works. The tour is never shortened under these circumstances, and we extend the visit inside the palaces instead.
