The Coves de Sant Josep underground river, located in the area of the same name, is a natural cave in the municipality of La Vall d’Uixó, province of Castellón, Spain.
The cavity developed in the Middle Triassic period and is mostly composed of limestone. The river’s origin and the cave’s end are unknown.
It’s the longest cave in the province of Castellón, and the second longest in the Valencian Community. Plus, thanks to its water source, it’s the longest navigable underground river in Europe.
