International jazz and R&B vocalist and recording artist Kathryn Farmer has enjoyed a stellar reputation on the world jazz scene. She’s a musician’s musician with a 5 octave range and a mesmerizing electrifying stage presence. Her musical accomplishments are as deep as they are varied.
Her debut CD Moondance was named in April 2013 WBGO’s (NYC/NJ) upbeat magazine as one of the top pick CD releases by program director Gary Walker! She received daily major airplay from WBGO, WGMC, WKCR, WPRB and also 99.7 FM in Taipei, Taiwan where she did shows at the R&B night club Brown Sugar Live.
She is not only described as an accomplished vocalist jazz, soul, and R&B diva, but also as an arranger, composer, lyricist, Hammond B3 organist and pianist! She’s wooed audiences in NYC, Europe, Africa, the Middle East and of late in the Far East.
