Meet your guide at the park entrance and set off on a 1.8-kilometer hike. Keep your eyes peeled for toucans, guans, and hummingbirds living in trees such as Ficus and Inga, and flowers like heliconia, all of which are considered the best “restaurants” for birds.
In terms of birdlife, over 350 species have been observed, including both resident and migratory birds. The excellent visibility along the trails and other areas also allows for the observation of massive raptor migrations between November and April each year.
