Get ready for a day trip to Saona Island you will never forget.

We will pick you up at your hotel and our transport will bring you to our beach office in Bayahibe where the excursion starts.

Departing from Bayahibe, we begin our journey along the coastline of the National Park of the East, passing El Peñon, an area once inhabited by the Taino people.

Our first stop is the charming fishing village Mano Juan, with no cars and only 300 inhabitants. Explore the village and learn about local life. You will visit the sea turtle project, aimed at increasing hatchling survival.

After enjoying some cold drinks below the palm trees we make our way to Canto de la Playa, the most remote corner of Saona Island. Enjoy the untouched nature and its crystal clear waters where you can go snorkeling or simply relax and enjoy the stunning beauty of the scenery.

The next stop is Catuano Beach, where a traditional Dominican barbecue lunch is ready for you. Enjoy a siesta after lunch in one of the hammocks or take a refreshing dip in the ocean.

Next we are off to explore the mangroves, a protected area in the national park National Park of the East. Learn about the importance of mangroves in our ecosystem and watch out for sea turtles in their natural habitat.

Our last stop is the mesmerizing Piscina Natural, a sandbank in the ocean. Snorkel with the big cushion starfish or simply enjoy a drink while enjoying the warm hip deep water.
