Welcome aboard the Quetzal, a unique and comfortable sailing boat to discover Saona Island. Experience true sailing, relaxation, conviviality, and the charm of a small group adventure.

PRICE: $159
per person

We board the boat in the morning around 9am and then sail for 1 hour 20 minutes towards Saona and the broken pier of Catuano, where snorkelers will be able to observe a wide range of tropical fishes .

Then we sail 10 minutes to our secluded beach spot — a quiet corner of Saona Island carefully chosen for its tranquility and beauty.
Thanks to our early arrival, we often reach it before the crowds, ensuring a peaceful and exclusive moment on one of the most breathtaking stretches of white sand and turquoise water in the Dominican Republic.

You’ll relax on comfortable sun loungers set up under the natural shade of majestic coconut palms, with nothing but the sound of the waves and the breeze in the trees. This hidden gem is far from the busy, overvisited areas — a true tropical escape reserved just for our guests during 1h30 minutes.

Here, you can swim in crystal-clear waters, sip a drink in the shallows, or simply unwind in complete serenity.

We’ll then set course for the natural swimming pool of Las Palmillas, a pristine sandbank nestled in the shallow turquoise waters of the Caribbean Sea. While cruising gently, you’ll enjoy a freshly prepared lunch onboard — made with 100% fresh local ingredients by our crew. A lobster menu is available as an upgrade on request (excluding the breeding season from March to June).

Unlike most tourist boats, we anchor at a quiet, secluded area of the natural pool, far from the crowd. Here, you’ll experience a true moment of peace, surrounded by the clearest waters in the region and the gentle company of giant starfish resting on the white sandy seabed. You’ll have 45 to 60 minutes to swim, float, snorkel, or just enjoy a drink in the water.

Then, we set sail back to Bayahibe, navigating peacefully along the coastline for about an hour and a half. No loud music onboard — just the gentle sound of the waves, the sea breeze, and the soothing rhythm of the ocean. Quetzal was designed for elegant sailing, offering a calm, intimate, and luxury yacht experience away from the noise of mass tourism. We return to the harbor around 5:00 PM, fully recharged and connected with the sea.
