Take an exclusive, half-day tour of Roatan, beginning with a short drive through Coxen Hole, then on to breathtaking views of the city port from Panorama Hill, perhaps the best place on the island to photograph the ship in port. Travel along the south Coast villages and spot the historical shipwrecks at Dixons Cove harbor on the way to the natural Eco Caribbean Culture Park. Learn of our rich Caribbean history and culture including the Pirates that made our Island their hideout and learn of the mystical Mayas and Payan Indians the first settlers of our Island all carved on special stones. Meet Guapo, our star Capuchino-friendly Monkey who loves to run around the park. Meet our exotic Mapache brothers and spot sloths hanging out in their habitat as well of our exotic bird’s macaw, hummingbirds, and roaming butterflies. Guests may sample some of our locally made fruit beverages, available at the park for sale along with local pastries; after a pleasant sightseeing drive along the North side of the island along several villages before arriving at the Historic West End, home of our chocolate and rum factory. End your day at West Bay Beach for a 2-hour stop to relax at the beach. Beverages and food are available for purchase at the resort’s outdoor restaurant.
