Meet your guide at the convenient meeting point in La Fortuna and set off on your adrenaline-pumping adventure. You will drive to the start of the trail and be shown how to descend the the canyon, accompanied by expert river guides and safety kayakers. There will be two breaks from the heart pounding rapids to refuel. The first stop will be along the river, where you can enjoy some fresh fruit. The second stop will be for an authentic Costa Rican lunch, you’ll also learn about the growing, harvesting, production of chocolate, medical plants, fruits and sugar cane.
