Day 1: Adelaide to Kangaroo Island
Rise early for your SeaLink transfer from Adelaide to Cape Jervis, then a 45-minute ferry across the Backstairs Passage to Kangaroo Island. Meet your guide, get a trip overview, and learn how to contribute to wildlife conservation through Passport to Recovery.

Choose your morning adventure: swim with dolphins or seals on a marine safari (optional extra), or hike Ironstone Hill through sheoak woodlands with sweeping coastal views. Visit a local honey farm to taste Ligurian bee honey, then explore Emu Ridge Eucalyptus Oil Distillery.

In the afternoon, enjoy a wine tasting at Dudley Wines with clifftop ocean views. Arrive at Happiness, our eco-campsite tucked into native bushland with private access to Antechamber Bay. Roll out your swag under the stars and fall asleep to the sounds of nature.

Day 2: Kangaroo Island
After breakfast, head to Seal Bay for a guided tour with National Parks & Wildlife rangers. Get up close to Australia’s third-largest colony of endangered sea lions and learn about their conservation.

Next, explore Flinders Chase National Park. Walk the boardwalk at Admirals Arch to spot New Zealand fur seals and marvel at the Remarkable Rocks—500 million years in the making. Return to camp for a relaxed evening by the beach under a blanket of stars.

Day 3: Kangaroo Island to Adelaide
Begin with a morning bush walk near camp before visiting Cape Willoughby, home to South Australia’s first lighthouse. Stop at Pennington Bay, then climb Prospect Hill for sweeping panoramic views.

Cool off with a swim at Kingscote Jetty, spot koalas at Duck Lagoon, and enjoy a picnic lunch at the hidden gem of Stokes Bay. End with a visit to Emu Bay, take a walk along its pristine white sands, and help with a meaningful beach clean-up. Return to Penneshaw for the ferry and bus transfer back to Adelaide, glowing from your island adventure. Your bus connection will have you back in Adelaide by around 9:00 pm.
