Perfect for first-timers and thrill-seekers alike, this guided adventure features up to two hours on the water, combining fun-filled Grade 2 and 3 rapids with calm stretches for soaking up the scenery.
Meet at the starting point at Lake Placid or select to get picked up from Cairns or Port Douglas (If option selected). Upon arriving to Lake Placid, meet your friendly guide, gear up with a life jacket, helmet, and optional rafting shoes, before making your way to the river’s edge. After a thorough safety briefing and paddle instructions, practice in flat water before diving into the action.
Ease into your journey with gentle rapids to build confidence before tackling more exciting rapids—like the thrilling Rooster Tail. Along the way, enjoy stunning views of the rainforest and learn about local wildlife as you paddle through this beautiful natural setting.
