Begin your day trip in Cape Town with a convenient pickup directly from your accommodation. Hop into a comfortable, air-conditioned vehicle and set out on your adventure.
Take a scenic drive along the Atlantic Seaboard, passing through the affluent areas of Clifton, Bantry Bay, and Llandudno before stopping in Camps Bay to visit the Maiden’s Cove lookout point for magnificent views of the ocean and the Twelve Apostles mountain range.
Your journey continues along the picturesque coastline as you make your way to Hout Bay Harbour. Choose to board a boat and visit the nearby Seal Island (cost not included) or spend some time shopping at the local market.
Next up is Chapman’s Peak Drive, one of the most iconic and scenic roads in the world. Stop at one of the viewpoints along the road, taking in panoramic views of Hout Bay, Sentinel Mountain, and Noordhoek Beach.
Hop back into the vehicle and continue your tour with a stop at the Noordhoek Farm Village. Enjoy marvelous views and purchase some of the best coffee in Cape Town at the Village Roast.
From here, make your way to the Cape of Good Hope. Discover the southern tip of the Cape Peninsula located within the Table Mountain National Park and learn about the historical significance of this scenic spot.
Stop at the lower station of the Old Cape Point Lighthouse and take an optional ride on the Flying Dutchman Funicular for 360-degree views of the National Park (cost not included).
Hop back into the vehicle and make your way to the Boulders Beach penguin colony. Wander along a specially designed boardwalk to get up close to the penguins in their natural habitat.
Then, it’s time for a lunch break (cost not included). Stop in Simon’s Town, a charming seaside town on the eastern side of the Cape Peninsula. Choose from a wide range of dining options, including seafood restaurants with ocean views, cozy cafes, and more.
