Itinerary
Day 1
Whitehaven Beach Day
Sail to Whitehaven Beach’s north end where you will enjoy a 15-minute walk through the rainforest to Hill Inlet Lookout to view the world-famous swirling sands of Whitehaven Beach. Look out for stingrays and lemon sharks which can sometimes be sighted from the lookout.
Then, walk down to Whitehaven Beach – a pristine 7 km-long silica sandy beach. Spend a few hours soaking up the sun and the stunning views, and take a swim to refresh in the cool turquoise waters.
Next, hop back on board for a sail to another island. Here, discover the underwater world of fish and coral of the great Barrier Reef, and see the fringing reefs around the Whitsunday Islands.
Watch the sunset from the deck of the boat whilst sipping a refreshing cold beer or wine. Meals included on day 1 include a welcome fruit platter upon boarding, buffet style lunch, afternoon tea, pre dinner snacks and big Aussie BBQ.
Day 2
Snorkel and Sail
Get up early to catch the sunrise if you please and enjoy a sail to your first snorkel destination of the day. See abundant coral and fish, then continue to a second snorkel sight or pristine beach.
Set sail to return to Airlie Beach listening to some summer tunes. Arrive back at the marina at approximately 4 PM. Meals included on day 2 include breakfast, lunch, tea/coffee, and biscuits.
