From immersive installations that play with light and sound, to sculptures that reveal new details up close, these artists create experiences that spark wonder, curiosity and joy. Each room tells a story and each artwork invites you to find your own.
Elsemarijn Bruys plays with perception and space, creating sculptures and installations that make you feel the art in every movement. Levi van Veluw invites you into an immersive, emotional world where light, memory, and symmetry create a quiet intensity. Folkert de Jong presents large-scale, uncanny scenes that draw you close and spark reflection. Max Siedentopf mixes humor and surprise, turning everyday objects into playful, thought-provoking experiences.

THE MUSEUM AND THE ROOMS

Villa sits in a monumental building on the Westergas site known as the Ingenieurswoning, the former residence of the engineer for the old gasworks. The house was designed with a clear, robust structure and a sense of presence that reflects its original purpose and craftsmanship. Its high ceilings and generous proportions give the space a strong but peaceful presence, while the careful restoration preserves that character and brings warmth back into every corner.

Inside, 12 rooms have been shaped into an intimate journey where light, materials, and architecture guide your steps and give space for art and reflection. The result is a setting that feels both monumental and unexpectedly homely. A place where the building itself becomes part of your experience with the artworks.
