17:00 – 22:10 (ICEHOTEL, 1:st March – 28th Match)
We begin with picking you up in Kiruna or Jukkasjärvi and drive around 30-40 minutes west, away from any city lights. Once at the farm, make sure you are wearing enough clothes and get ready for the ride. Help to prepare your horse for the evening, and get to know each other before you mount and head out into the winter evening.
We ride through a many hundred years old forest nestled against the mountain range, enjoying the silence and calmness. Hopefully, we see the northern lights, but even if we don’t, it’s a magical feeling riding through a snowy forest in the dark. Maybe we spot some moose or reindeer during the ride.
When you come back, we take care of the horses and then head to a goahti (Sami hut) for a warm traditional Sámi dinner over the open fire. Here you have the chance to learn more about animals, nature, Sámi culture, and life above the Arctic Circle. When you are full and warmed up again, we bring you back to Kiruna or Jukkasjärvi.
PLEASE NOTE: The price listed here only applies to transfers to and from Kiruna C. For Icehotel, an additional cost of 300 SEK per person is added.
