PLEASE BE AWARE: There are different versions depending on the time of the year. GetYourGuide does not allow us to make separate tours to fit the season. SO please be careful to select the tour for the season

– Enjoy a guided tour of the UNESCO-listed Kronborg Castle. The Castle dates back 600 years to the time of the Kalmar Union and with architecture for which it became famous in the 1700s century.
– Have the opportunity to, on your hand, explore the magnificent Renaissance place of Frederiksborg.
– Let our guide introduce you to the Roskilde Cathedral, where almost all Christian Danish monarchs are buried. A UNESCO Heritage site dating back 1000 years.
– The Viking Ship Museum is located at the bay of Roskilde, a vibrant and wonderful place in the summer.

– Infotainment! That’s what we call it. Not so many facts that you lose yourself in years, Kings, and wars. And neither so humorous and fun that it becomes a comedy. But a gentle mix of facts presented in an easy-going way and a twinkle in the eyes, by our excellent driver and guide.

– A 1-hour guided tour at the real Castle of Shakespeare’s Hamlet Castle – the Kronborg Castle.
– On the way from Kronborg to Hillerod, the tour will take you through the beautiful North Zealand landscape with forests and small villages.
– Arriving in the town of Hillerod, there is a 2-hour stop.
Time for you, to experience the incredible Frederiksborg Renaissance Palace.
Lunch in Hillerod is not included. But we can assist you in finding lunch at a nice local café with both Danish and international lunch classics. Should you prefer something else, you might find just that on the local walking street.
– After Hillerod, the tour goes to the larger town of Roskilde for the last stop of the day.
– At Roskilde Cathedral, your guide will introduce you to some of the history of the cathedral, you will see some of the most distinct Christian monarchs’ graves, and get a small insight into their impact on Danish history.
– In the summer time or when the Cathedral has services, the day ends at the Viking Ship Museum at Roskilde Fjord (bay of Roskilde).
The museum has a shipyard and a small harbor full of reconstructed Viking ships. Sometimes we are lucky to see a replicated Viking Ship cruising on the water of the fjord.
